OpenAirInterface will participate in the first edition of the OSCAR (Open-Source Core, Applications and RAN) Workshop, organized by 5G-MAG on June 12, 2025.

The event brings together representatives from various open-source mobile network projects to present current work and explore synergies across core networks, RAN, applications, orchestration, and testing tools.

Several OAI contributors will take part in the program:

  • – Robert Schmidt will participate in the introductory session and present OpenAirInterface.
  • – Tien-Thinh Nguyen will speak in the session about 5G Core alongside representatives from Open5GS and free5GC.
  • – Jaroslava Fiedlerova will present in the session focused on RAN with other contributors from the srsRAN project.
  • – Teodora Vladić will contribute to the session on OAM (Operations and Maintenance).

The OSCAR workshop is an initiative led by 5G-MAG to strengthen collaboration across open-source projects contributing to mobile network development.
