Telecommunications expert with over 15 years of international experience spanning leading roles at Vodafone, Ericsson, and Nokia. I specialize in Radio Access Network (RAN) software, wireless standards, and the evolution of mobile technologies from 2G to 5G—and now toward direct-to-mobile satellite services.
At Vodafone, I lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, defining and delivering the company’s RAN software roadmap across multiple generations of mobile networks. I drive innovation in Open RAN, Massive MIMO, AI-based network intelligence, and open-source software while managing strategic supplier relationships and representing Vodafone in global industry bodies such as the O-RAN Alliance and TIP.
Previously at Ericsson, I led R&D initiatives focused on LTE, heterogeneous networks, and multi-technology positioning solutions. I played a key role in translating business needs into technical solutions, contributing to product development and service delivery, and producing patents and publications.
My journey began at Nokia, where I contributed to 3GPP LTE standardization and developed system-level simulators for UTRAN LTE, laying the groundwork for future mobile innovations.
With a strong foundation in data science, algorithm design, and scientific programming, I hold 9 patents and have authored 20+ international publications. I’m passionate about bridging industry and academia, mentoring talent, and shaping the future of global connectivity.
