SYRTEM, a Franconville (north-west Parisian region) based SME, specializing in 5G-NR radio and FPGA off-loading solutions for 5G-NR today announced joining OpenAirInterface Software Alliance.

SYRTEM was partner to TCL Communications and EURECOM in demonstrating the first 5G-NR UE at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona early this year.

SYRTEM is a different type of partner for the OSA in that its focus is mostly on FPGA solutions and hardware. We are pleased to see such a member at the Alliance as this provides new hardware solutions for the community members interested in 5G-NR and other FPGA-based activities. In practice SYRTEM can help the community with specific FPGA-based acceleration needs as they arise, as a complementary solution to the all-software OpenAirInterface 5G-NR implementation.
