Dear OpenAirInterface Community,

Having not been able to organize a workshop in 2020, due to the COVID-19 crisis, we are pleased to announce a virtual workshop  on the November 12th, 2020 from 10:00AM-02:00PM Eastern Time (4:00PM-8:00PM Central European Time). The workshop is being organized with the support of our Strategic Member, PAWR.

The main purpose of the event is to inform the community of the status of the 5G RAN and CORE NETWORK stacks that have been recently released  as well as to announce the timetable and roadmap of the future 5G developments.  The workshop will also introduce the OAI 5G RAN and 5G CORE NETWORK PROJECT GROUPS that the Alliance has recently launched in order to accelerate 5G releases.

Over 2020, OpenAirInterface has made great strides in developing the 5G stack and data-center deployment of 5G and has reinforced its position as the leading open 5G software. The workshop will be great opportunity to  share our vision with the community .

The workshop program is in the making and will be announced soon.  A few slots for 15 minute presentations are available for presentations from community members. Please write to us at  contact@openairinterface.org to submit proposals for talks and demos.
