OpenAirInterface (OAI) is pleased to announce its latest novelty: the “Spring of Code.”. With this initiative, we wish to promote collaboration and bring new contributors within 5G and next-generation software development. The Spring of Code event is a testimony to the OAI’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant open-source community.

Selected candidates will participate in a week-long training program at the EURECOM/OAI labs in the South of France (Biot). Supported by the Horizon 2020 project SLICES-SC*, this immersive experience will provide developers with invaluable insights into OAI 5G and O-RAN technology, empowering them to make meaningful contributions to the OAI codebase. After the training, the candidates will have two months to work on their submissions and present their work to the OAI committee at the end of May. The best contributors will receive prizes.
